Hobson Prior is seeking a USP Expert Biotechnologist to join our client's dynamic team. This role focuses on upstream manufacturing processes within the biotechnology field. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining equipment readiness. Your expertise will contribute to process improvements and team development.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Responsibilities:
- Complete tasks independently while understanding the entire process.
- Lead projects and make decisions on the shop floor.
- Follow set procedures but adapt them when necessary.
- Maintain equipment and work areas ready for inspection.
- Prepare media and buffers according to protocols.
- Write, review, and approve procedural documents.
- Assist in technical and validation protocol execution.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance skills.
- Support inspections and audits by regulatory agencies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Step in for the Team Lead when needed.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of mammalian cell culture for therapeutic products.
- Experience with upstream processing equipment.
- Understanding of cell culture techniques and process validation.
- Collaborative team player with leadership skills.
