Hobson Prior is seeking a Flow Cytometry Senior Scientist to focus on Micro Physiological Systems. This role will focus on developing and optimizing advanced cell models and flow cytometry-based tests. The successful candidate will play a key part in the efforts to create new preclinical models that aid in the development of treatments for cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic diseases.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and run tests using flow cytometry to study cells.
• Design and interpret studies using advanced cell models.
• Analyse samples using various lab techniques like ELISA and qPCR.
• Work on improving models to support drug research.
• Communicate and work well with different teams and stakeholders.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Biology or Biotechnology.
• Skilled in flow cytometry and cell culture techniques.
• Ability to design and analyse scientific studies independently.
• Good at visualizing data and performing statistical analysis.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience with 3D cell cultures and immune cell handling is a plus.
