Hobson Prior is searching for a Scientist to join a dedicated team focusing on Micro Physiobiological Systems. The successful candidate will be part of a group working on innovative preclinical models to aid in the development of new treatments for cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic conditions. This role involves hands-on laboratory work and collaboration with various teams to advance research projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct experiments using advanced cell models.
• Analyse samples using methods like ELISA, qPCR, and imaging.
• Develop and refine models to support drug research.
• Communicate findings and collaborate with different teams.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A background in fields such as Pharmacy, Biology, or Biotechnology.
• Practical experience with cell cultures and primary cells.
• Familiarity with lab techniques like qPCR and ELISAs.
• Ability to design studies and analyse data independently.
• Experience with 3D cell cultures and microfluidic chips is a plus.
