Hobson Prior is working with a global leader in healthcare to recruit for a Head of Production to manage their Production department. This position will be required to ensure compliance with quality systems, regulations and corporate requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee production, ensuring adherence to quality assurance systems and regulations.
• Represent Production in site management meetings and contribute to strategic projects.
• Develop and mentor production staff to drive high performance.
• Manage production, storage, and quality control processes, ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Supervise outsourced production and report incidents to relevant departments.
• Maintain production facilities and conduct investigations for deviations.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Proven working experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within pharmaceutical production.
• Strong background in radiochemistry or a related scientific field.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to customer service.
• Familiarity with radiochemical processes, PET radiopharmaceuticals, and EA licensing.
• Experience drafting SOPs and understanding industry dynamics.
