Hobson Prior is seeking a Process Cleaning Scientist. The successful candidate will be required to support the cleaning program for equipment and components in a manufacturing setting. This role focuses on developing and executing cleaning strategies and ensuring equipment cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Work with teams to create cleaning strategies for the facility.
• Write and manage the main cleaning plan.
• Prepare and carry out cleaning tests and write reports.
• Inspect and sample equipment during cleaning tests.
• Write instructions for cleaning equipment.
• Develop documents for cleaning activities on the production floor.
• Review completed cleaning records.
• Solve problems and improve cleaning processes.
• Provide support for cleaning issues and help find solutions.
• Update cleaning equipment and processes as needed.
• Review key components to ensure equipment stays qualified.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Understanding of cleaning equipment and methods.
• Knowledge of validation requirements and documentation practices.
• Familiarity with biotech manufacturing and production schedules.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse teams.
• Quick and proactive response to changing priorities.
• Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Proficient in English.
• Must have the right to work in Ireland.
