Hobson Prior is seeking a Responsible Person (RP) to play a key part in ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products. The successful candidate will work closely with a dedicated team to support quality assurance processes and maintain compliance with industry standards. This position is a fully remote working position.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties as the Responsible Person (RP)/ Responsible Person import (RPi) as necessary.
- Manage and update the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet regulatory standards.
- Act as a key contact for clients, providing guidance on quality and compliance matters.
- Oversee the handling and distribution of controlled drugs, ensuring adherence to regulations.
- Ensure proper storage and transportation of biological products and cold chain items.
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training to staff on Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliance.
- Approve suppliers and customers, ensuring they meet high standards.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Experience as a named RP on a WDA(H) license is preferred.
- Experience in assessing third-party contractors and validating equipment.
- Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in handling complaints and deviations.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Degree in a relevant pharmaceutical or life science field.
