Hobson Prior is seeking a Responsible Person for a contract role based in Berlin. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems within distribution. They will also ensure that all operating procedures are followed and reviewed, and that necessary training is provided to relevant staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems within distribution.
- Ensure that all operating procedures are followed and reviewed, and that necessary training is provided to relevant staff.
- Safeguard product users against potential hazards arising from poor distribution practices.
- Coordinate and promptly perform any recall operations for generic and sterile products.
- Ensure that relevant customer complaints are dealt with effectively.
- Approve any subcontracted activities which may impact on GDP.
- Keep appropriate records of any delegated duties.
- Decide on the final disposition of returned, rejected, recalled or falsified products.
- Ensure that any additional requirements imposed on certain products by national law are adhered to.
- Document deviations and decide on CAPAs to correct deviations and avoid their reoccurrence and monitor the effectiveness of those CAPA's.
Requirements
- Must be qualified as a Responsible Person (RP) in accordance with GDP, EU and HPRA requirements.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in quality or Pharmaceutical Science disciplines.
- Experience working as a RP/Controlled Drugs Officer in the pharma/veterinary or medical distribution business.
- People management skills are critical as the role will be accountable for managing the performance of a Deputy RP and lead others to deliver results.
- Detailed knowledge and experience creating and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with GDP, with a focus on compliance and continual improvement.
- Excellent computer skills: word, excel, typing.
- Native and Fluent level English and German.
