In this role, you will ensure that quality control activities meet high standards to support the production and release of gene therapy products. You will play a key role in setting up a new facility, involving equipment checks, method transfers, and routine testing.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular tests to ensure products are ready for release.
- Assist with testing at external labs for materials and final products.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated.
- Document any issues and help implement solutions.
- Help develop and update standard operating procedures and lab documents.
- Complete necessary training promptly to perform assigned tasks.
- Keep the QC facilities compliant with health and safety standards.
- Support the management of quality systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Participate in equipment checks and method validation when needed.
- Suggest and support improvements in processes.
- Ensure all work follows good manufacturing practices and documentation standards.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to conduct routine analytical testing.
- Experience with lab equipment operation and maintenance.
- Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and data integrity.
