Hobson Prior is seeking an Analytical Biochemist for a contract role. This position involves working in a high-tech environment focused on producing vital medicines. You will be part of a team ensuring the quality of products through various analytical techniques and supporting the introduction of new methods.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and prepare samples and reagents for analysis.
• Conduct tests using techniques like HPSEC, GC, gel electrophoresis, and more.
• Perform device testing and compendial methods such as checking for particles and extractable volume.
• Support production with analytical method transfers and validations.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and manage administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with local and global teams to ensure quality standards.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A degree in chemistry or biochemistry.
• Experience in analytical chemistry, ideally in a GMP-regulated setting.
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Familiarity with quality assurance in pharmaceutical or food manufacturing is beneficial.
• Knowledge of LEAN principles is advantageous.
