Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join our clients team. This role will focus on enhancing automated systems and processes, ensuring they meet industry standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing system issues, supporting project execution, and maintaining technical documentation. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and fix problems in automated systems.
• Assist in planning and evaluating automated tests.
• Maintain and document system operations.
• Develop and manage automated test cases.
• Improve company systems and processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Background in engineering with a focus on automation or related fields.
• Familiarity with Siemens automation systems including PCS7, Step 7, WinCC, TIA PORTAL
• Experience with programming languages like C++, C#, or JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of control systems and IT processes.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in German and English.
• Team-oriented with good problem-solving abilities.
