Hobson Prior has partnered with a global leader in biotechnology who is seeking an AAV Development - Group Lead to join their team in Incheon, South Korea. This role focuses on setting up and managing AAV development platforms, overseeing client projects, and developing strategic roadmaps for AAV services.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain lab and pilot-scale technical platforms for AAV development.
• Lead the creation of standard procedures for cell line, upstream processing, downstream processing, formulation, and analytics development.
• Continuously improve technical platforms both internally and collaboratively.
• Develop tailored project packages for AAV development or tech transfer activities to support client needs.
• Streamline processes to manage multi-functional activities efficiently.
• Manage resources to meet metrics and deliverable timelines.
• Analyze global technical trends in AAV therapeutics and establish a stepwise technical portfolio.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve goals.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• A degree in Bioscience, Biotechnology, or Bioengineering is required. A doctoral degree in Bioscience or Bioengineering, along with a PMP certification, is preferred.
• Experience in biopharma AAV development, including vector/host cell, upstream processing, downstream processing, or analysis.
• Knowledge of AAV production strategy and biopharmaceutical product life cycle.
• Skills in multi-function management, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving.
• Understanding of cGMP regulations, good documentation practices, data integrity, and ICH guidelines.
