Hobson Prior are looking for a UK - Biotransformation Scientist to join a brilliant pharma organisation on a contract basis located in Surrey. Our client is focused on producing solutions and improving the lives of many.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role, you will produce LC-HRMS metabolite profiling data from the analysis of in vitro & in vivo samples.
• Create, report and disseminate data to biotransformation representatives.
• Responsible for designing and implementing biotransformation-based assays to acknowledge crucial concerns.
• Accountable for the upkeep of LC-MS systems within the group.
• The ideal candidate will develop analytical strategies for new chemical modalities.
• Any other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a chemistry or biochemistry field with pertinent demonstrable experience.
• Familiarity within the area of drug discovery.
• Acquaintance with high resolution mass spectrometry and chromatography, such as HPLC, uHPLC, LC-HRMS, etc., of small molecules.
