Hobson Prior has partnered with a large biotechnology company who are seeking a Senior Specialist Benefits Operations to join their team in Chester. This role focuses on managing and improving benefits programs, ensuring they run smoothly and provide a positive experience for users.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete operation of benefits programs for assigned markets.
• Explain and communicate benefit plan details and processes clearly.
• Document all processes and activities, updating local work instructions and knowledge articles.
• Implement new benefits, designs, and process changes.
• Handle daily tasks related to benefit plan eligibility, enrollments, status changes, terminations, and claims.
• Manage changes in provider portals and reconcile system reports.
• Administer invoicing and payment processes, including raising purchase orders and tracking payments.
• Monitor and resolve any deviations from agreed service standards.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in Benefits Administration.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• General knowledge of HR policies, processes, and regional employment laws.
• Proficiency in Excel, especially with vlookups and pivot tables, and other Microsoft Office applications.
