Hobson Prior is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join a dynamic team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and compliance of pharmaceutical products throughout their development and commercialization stages. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of six, providing essential support to maintain project continuity and manage regulatory requirements.

The role will be hybrid with 60-80% on-site and some potential travel within the EU.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure products meet quality standards during development and commercialization.
• Address and resolve quality issues, such as complaints and testing discrepancies.
• Support the release of active ingredients and products by reviewing documentation and change controls.
• Communicate potential quality and regulatory issues to the team.
• Participate in team meetings to represent quality activities.
• Conduct audits and prepare agreements with third-party sites.
• Optimize the quality system by proposing new procedures and tools.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Preferably a PhD in pharmacy, chemistry, or a related field
• Experience in pharmaceutical product development, quality control, or chemical production.
• Experience with in technical regulatory affairs, ideally Module 3.
• Understanding of drug development and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with quality standards and the ability to implement them.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, with additional language skills in German, French, or Italian being advantageous.
