Hobson Prior is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join a dynamic team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and compliance of pharmaceutical products throughout their development and commercialization stages. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of six, providing essential support to maintain project continuity and manage regulatory requirements.
The role will be hybrid with 60-80% on-site and some potential travel within the EU.
Responsibilities:
Ensure products meet quality standards during development and commercialization.
Address and resolve quality issues, such as complaints and testing discrepancies.
Support the release of active ingredients and products by reviewing documentation and change controls.
Communicate potential quality and regulatory issues to the team.
Participate in team meetings to represent quality activities.
Conduct audits and prepare agreements with third-party sites.
Optimize the quality system by proposing new procedures and tools.
Mentor and support junior team members.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Preferably a PhD in pharmacy, chemistry, or a related field
Experience in pharmaceutical product development, quality control, or chemical production.
Experience with in technical regulatory affairs, ideally Module 3.
Understanding of drug development and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with quality standards and the ability to implement them.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Fluent in English, with additional language skills in German, French, or Italian being advantageous.
