Hobson Prior is collaborating with biotechnology who is seeking an Operational Support Engineer to join our team. You will work in a regulated environment ensuring all quality and safety standards are met. Your role will involve supporting production activities, maintaining equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions and prepare for tasks by discussing guidelines and priorities with your manager.
• Perform and monitor production activities safely and according to regulations.
• Keep accurate records of your work and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are functioning properly.
• Ensure the quality of your work and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
• Share information about your work and any issues with relevant stakeholders promptly.
• Propose and help implement improvements to processes and methods.
• Build and share knowledge within your field and assist colleagues.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with production tasks such as buffer preparation, filtration, and chromatography.
• Ability to work independently and perform both routine and non-routine tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to evaluate results and understand trends.
• Experience in training and coaching less experienced employees.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
