Hobson Prior is seeking a Materials Management Scientist/Senior Scientist to join our client's dynamic team in Ireland. In this role, you will focus on managing the technical aspects of materials used in the production of specialized proteins. Your work will ensure a steady supply of materials while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee how materials affect production processes.
• Conduct risk assessments and evaluate suppliers.
• Develop strategies to manage risks related to suppliers and materials.
• Assist in investigations and manage changes in processes.
• Work with teams from different departments around the world.
• Prepare and review important technical documents.
• Participate in product and system reviews.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive and eager to learn with a focus on data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Educational background in biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry, or similar fields.
• Experience working with external suppliers.
