Hobson Prior is seeking a proactive HS&E Advisor to support the preparation on moving to a new facility in Surrey by 2026. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth transition of health, safety, and environmental programs and compliance during this period. This role will work closely with various teams to support the decommissioning of our current site and the setup of the new one. This role will also involve managing day-to-day health, safety, and wellbeing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and update local health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Conduct workshops to explain company policies.
• Attend meetings to represent health, safety, and environmental systems.
• Support and conduct audits and assessments.
• Maintain regulatory licenses.
• Collaborate with safety and environmental representatives.
• Facilitate risk assessments and review control measures.
• Support environmental management systems and set targets.
• Assist with life-safety systems.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Basic certification in health and safety (NEBOSH Certificate) is required.
• Membership in a professional safety organization (IOSH) is preferred.
• Experience in health, safety, and environmental roles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders.
• Interest in fostering a safe and healthy work culture.
