Hobson Prior is seeking a General Manager to lead and expand our pharmaceutical efforts into new markets. The successful candidate will focus on introducing niche medicines in regions similar to the Nordic market. This role position is crucial in managing the initial commercial phase, building business cases, and supporting product launches while maintaining a cost-effective approach.

Responsibilities:
- Identify new markets for expansion and develop strategies tailored to each region.
- Build a pipeline of niche medicines that meet specific sales criteria.
- Conduct market assessments to uncover commercial opportunities.
- Collaborate with teams to register products and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Lead product launches and manage pricing strategies.
- Develop relationships with local stakeholders to boost product adoption.
- Work closely with global teams to align strategies and meet development timelines.
- Explore growth opportunities and enhance market visibility.
- Report progress and challenges to headquarters.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly with generic medicines.
- Strategic thinking and understanding of tender-driven markets.
- Strong commercial skills to identify growth opportunities.
- Experience in market expansion or managing operations at a country level.
- Excellent communication skills for building relationships with stakeholders.
- Results-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
