Hobson Prior is collaborating with a leading pharmaceutical company to find a talented Formulation Scientist for their team in Sweden. This exciting opportunity is a 12-month contract position.

Responsibilities:
This is a laboratory role where you will assist project teams and contribute your technical and scientific knowledge to formulation development. You will create and provide various formulation systems for both oral and parenteral administration, emphasizing liquid formulations, while assisting projects during preclinical and clinical stages. You will similarly conduct important characterization tasks.
This necessitates close cooperation with various internal departments and external collaborators to enhance our drug delivery capabilities, as well as involving customers in solution development by utilizing a wider viewpoint.
You are required to conduct laboratory experimental tasks in alignment with project schedules, working closely with other formulators, analysts, solid-state specialists, and biopharmaceutical professionals. Your work must be thoroughly documented and meet quality standards.
Crucial for the position:
- Master's degree in a field related to formulation science, pharmaceutical technology, chemical engineering, or comparable credentials.
- Experience in formulation development or comparable product development, or other pertinent laboratory skills.
- Desirable is technical expertise in drug product formulation development for oral and/or parenteral administration.
- A solid grasp of appropriate quality standards and regulatory frameworks is preferred.
