Hobson Prior is working alongside a pharma. company seeking a CAPEX Engineering Project Manager to join a dynamic team. This role focuses on overseeing engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards, and are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Oversight: Coordination of field engineering for all changes and direct contact for the operations team for changes and support.
• Interface to ENG Department: Evaluating the accessibility of components for maintenance purposes in close collaboration with the engineering department.
• Project Completion Detailed Design: Ensuring that the detailed design is fully and correctly implemented to ensure a smooth transition to subsequent phases.
• Time and Budget Compliance: Monitoring adherence to project schedules and budgets and identifying risks to develop proactive solutions.
• Quality and safety standards: ensuring that all regulatory and safety-related requirements are met by the end of operational qualification.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Completed technical studies in the field of engineering, project management or similar qualification would be an advantage
• At least 8 years of experience in engineering, project management and the execution of CAPEX projects in a regulated environment, preferably with experience in biotechnology or aseptic production
• Experience in professional collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and external partners in the implementation of complex, large-volume technical projects
• Confident handling of HOAI, contract drafting and claim management
• In-depth knowledge of GMP, including regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Structured way of working, team management, communication skills and professional leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, resilience and assertiveness
• Very good knowledge of German and English
