Hobson Prior is seeking a CDT Manager to join a well established pharmaceutical company in the United Kingdom on a permanent basis. This role focuses on ensuring that clinical study results are presented clearly and accurately for the public, while maintaining scientific integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Create easy-to-understand summaries of clinical trial results.
• Ensure the process for producing these summaries is efficient and high-quality.
• Work with various teams and external partners to meet document requirements.
• Follow internal guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Lead discussions to improve guidelines and processes.
• Oversee vendors and review draft summaries for compliance and clarity.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure studies meet internal and regulatory criteria.
• Ensure results are presented appropriately for non-scientific readers.
• Address concerns about confidential information and participant privacy.
• Collaborate with teams publishing clinical trial results.
• Prepare and facilitate meetings with team members.
• Ensure timely hand-off of summaries for translation.
• Participate in vendor meetings and raise issues as needed.
• Assist in updating procedural documents and identifying areas for improvement.
• Communicate clearly in both written and spoken English.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• A degree in a scientific, technical, or healthcare field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in medical writing or creating plain language summaries.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-focused and solution-oriented.
• Proficient in English.
