Hobson Prior is seeking a Business Development Manager to join a dedicated team. This role focuses on expanding our client base and enhancing relationships within the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate is someone who is proactive in identifying new business opportunities and can effectively communicate our services to potential clients.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and forecasts for the designated region.
  • Conduct engaging sales presentations and coordinate proposals with subject matter experts.
  • Lead the preparation of quotations and proposals in line with commercial strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to manage RFPs and bid defence meetings.
  • Generate new clients through various sales activities, including cold calling and networking.
  • Strengthen existing accounts while seeking new business opportunities.
  • Analyse market opportunities and build strong relationships with key client personnel.
  • Understand client business challenges and provide consultative solutions.
  • Work with regional management and business unit heads to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business-to-business sales with a strong track record.
  • Familiarity with Customer Centric Selling and Account Based Management.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare business from a supplier's perspective.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to influence and empower team members to achieve targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Native Swedish speaker with business-level English proficiency.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in the healthcare market is a plus.
