Hobson Prior is seeking a dedicated and skilled Bioprocessing Scientist to focus on the production of sterile gene therapy products. The successful candidate will work in a cleanroom environment, ensuring that all activities meet high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out production tasks and use sterile methods to create gene therapy products.
• Oversee facility operations to ensure they meet safety and quality guidelines.
• Perform regular cleaning, monitor the environment, and manage supplies.
• Keep manufacturing and storage areas ready for use.
• Help with ordering and storing materials, following compliance rules.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Support technology transfer and help plan to meet production goals.
• Follow health, safety, and documentation standards.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Skilled in using sterile techniques and preventing contamination.
• Able to solve problems effectively and work well with others.
• Confident in leading tasks and working with teams.
• Aware of budget and resource management.
• Dedicated to improving quality and ensuring high standards.
• Background in a scientific field with hands-on lab experience.
• Familiar with pharmaceutical manufacturing, especially biologics or sterile processes.
• Good understanding of GMP and documentation practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Detail-oriented and good with numbers.
