Hobson Prior is seeking a Biomarker Clinical Operations Lead to join our client's team in Basel, Switzerland. In this role, you will provide expertise in biomarker operations to ensure the smooth running of clinical studies. You will be responsible for planning and executing biomarker management strategies and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality data.

Responsibilities:

• Offer guidance on biomarker operations to clinical study teams.
• Develop and implement plans for managing biomarkers in drug and device studies.
• Oversee all biomarker-related activities, including vendor management and data quality assurance.
• Work with internal and external partners to set up labs and manage sample logistics.
• Select and manage biomarker vendors, ensuring quality and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with Data Management to ensure timely data delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute operational strategies.
• Provide technical expertise on biomarker analysis and compliance with regulations.
• Participate in meetings to train stakeholders on biomarker procedures.
• Address queries from Health Authorities regarding biomarker samples.
• Identify and implement best practices and process improvements.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in Life Sciences; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Experience in clinical research or related fields.
• Strong background in clinical development and project management.
• Knowledge of drug development processes and regulations.
• Experience with biological sample processing and analysis.
• Ability to work in a global, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are beneficial.
