Hobson Prior is working alongside a biopharma seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join a dynamic team in Netherlands. This is a hybrid role. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products through the supply chain, identifying potential risks, and collaborating with various teams to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Material Consumption Analysis:

  • Analyze material consumption patterns based on actuals data, manufacturing plans, and demand forecasts.
  • Identify potential risks or bottlenecks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

Order Management:

  • Oversee the entire order management process, including order placement, confirmation, tracking, and fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of products.
  • Proactively address any issues or delays in the order fulfillment process.

Vendor Management:

  • Engage with vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) deliveries and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Follow up on open orders and expected delivery times (ETDs).

Master Data Management:

  • Maintain master data parameters (min/max) related to demand planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data inputs to support supply/demand planning activities.
  • Work with IT and other teams to develop and enhance data management processes.

Inventory Management and Analysis:

  • Calculate coverage, days of stock, and rotation KPIs.
  • Define Slow and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory and identify non-movers per month.
  • Update and maintain inventory availability reports.

SAP Maintenance:

  • Actively participate in the improvements of the SAP system, specifically related to demand planning and forecasting modules.
  • Provide inputs and recommendations for system configuration and customization based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and external consultants to ensure smooth SAP operations.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supply chain planning, material and inventory management (min 4 years).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in SAP with a focus on demand planning and forecasting modules.
  • Proficient in Excel and Power BI.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
