Hobson Prior are seeking a Senior Statistician for a permanent position, this is an opportunity with an industry leading Medical Device company.

Job responsibilities/tasks:

• Support end-to-end statistical activities including the development of study protocols, writing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), interpreting study results, and preparing publications to support the research.
• Act as a 'Statistics Expert' internally to answer statistical queries from cross-functional teams (Clinical, Regulatory) regarding study design and analysis.
• Use SAS and/or R to perform programming and QC of TFLs and statistical analyses.

Job requirements:

• You will need to have good oral and written communication skills
• You must be organised and flexible in your approach to work, with good attention to detail in order to ensure that data and analyses are accurate.
• Master's Degree (or higher) in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Statistician in a Clinical trial setting - either in Academia, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device or Research
• Preferred skills - Competent user of SAS (and R, if possible)
