Hobson Prior has partnered with a biotechnology company who is seeking a Production Operator for a contract role in Bern, Switzerland. This position focuses on supporting production operations within the biotechnology industry.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities:

• Work accurately and responsibly in production tasks.
• Be flexible with work hours, including potential overtime and shift work.
• Operate in a clean and regulated environment.
• Perform visual inspections in dimmed lighting conditions.
• Handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 5kg and working in various positions (sitting and standing).
• Balance and count bottles accurately.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Good knowledge of German (at least B1 level).
• Experience in production, especially in pharmaceutical or food industries, is a plus.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is beneficial but not required.
• Forklift operation experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Physical fitness for handling light lifting and varied work positions.
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
