Hobson Prior is currently seeking a Principal Statistical Programmer for a mid-size Biopharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will become the 'Project Lead Programmer', responsible for the oversight of programming activities outsourced to the company's CRO and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• For this role, you will supervise programming tasks delegated to the company's contracted research organization (CRO) and external suppliers.
• Coordinate project schedules and objectives.
• Verify that outsourced projects adhere to agreed-upon schedules, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Offer direction and instruction to the CRO Programming team.
• Collaborate closely with the CRO's Lead Programmer and internal study groups.
• Serve as the Programming Team's representative during audits.
• Develop responses to audit inquiries and observations.
• Engage in direct programming activities as needed.

Requirements

• Hold and MSc Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstratable experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotec or CRO sectors.
• Previous involvement in a leadership capacity as a Programmer within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO domain is essential.
• Familiarity with CDISC SDTM and ADaM Data Standards is required.
