Hobson Prior is seeking a Manager in Analytical Development/Quality Control to join a dedicated team in Basel, Switzerland. This role will focus on ensuring that drug substances and products meet quality standards and comply with regulations. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage projects, and oversee laboratory activities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small team and manage several projects.
• Organize and oversee lab activities, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Develop and improve methods for testing drug purity and stability.
• Represent the team in project meetings.
• Conduct and document various tests and studies.
• Maintain and operate lab equipment properly.
• Train team members and ensure a clean workspace.
• Design and execute experiments independently.
• Communicate results and manage outsourcing of tasks.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, biology, or chemical engineering.
• Strong background in analytical chemistry and knowledge of regulations.
• Effective team management and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proficient in English with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in developing and performing analytical tests.
