Hobson Prior is seeking a Filling Line Keeper for a role based in Visp. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a highly automated modern filling line in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting. This role requires a strong understanding of both hardware and software systems, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation of a highly automated modern filling line, ensuring it is always ready for production.
• Act as the primary contact for any issues related to the filling line.
• Support maintenance activities and act as a liaison with the maintenance department.
• Manage, organize, and store format parts.
• Record and evaluate fault messages in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team.
• Prepare and review documentation related to the filling line, including checklists and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Serve as the point of contact for insulator, scade, and other systems related to the filling line.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Completion of an apprenticeship as a chemical and pharmaceutical technologist or a higher technical vocational training.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical sector, ideally in the fill-and-finish sector.
• Experience in a leadership role or a similar function.
• Strong affinity for operating automated production systems and general electronics.
• Knowledge of operating small appliances, autoclaves, washing machines, and compounding.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (both oral and written).
