Hobson Prior is seeking an Associate Director for Medical Customer Engagement. This role involves managing complex medical information requests, supporting cross-functional teams, and overseeing system enhancements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting Medical Customer Engagement Centre activities, analysing metrics, and ensuring compliance with procedures and quality metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex medical information requests efficiently.
  • Support the delivery of medical information to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Support system-related enhancements and maintenance.
  • Oversee assigned departmental budgets.
  • Analyse and communicate metrics and customer insights.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed procedures and quality metrics.
  • Contribute to training requirements and collaborate closely with partners.
  • Ensure accurate and current resources are available for responding to unsolicited requests for medical information.
  • Oversee the process for ensuring content is consistent with product labelling and new and updated content.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or Life Sciences.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including medical information.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency with systems (e.g., Salesforce), processes, products, and customer relations skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to problem solve and develop solutions.
  • Ability to critically evaluate scientific data and retrieve and evaluate information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent understanding of regulations, guidelines, and the practice of medicine as it is pertinent to medical information.
  • Ability to establish effective and productive relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ability to critically analyze performance against quality measures, metrics, and process.
  • Initiative to identify gaps and propose innovative solutions that optimize process and utilize technology.
