Hobson Prior is seeking a Regional Medical Advisor/Director. This role involves acting as a bridge between the organisation and the medical/scientific community. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships and leading scientific engagements with external experts and organisations. The role will also contribute to medical affairs activities such as generating evidence, reviewing scientific materials, attending medical education events and leading medical affairs teams in the designated region.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the regional medical affairs teams.
- Adapt the international medical affairs strategy to the regional level and oversee its implementation.
- Identify and support investigators and sites for all clinical trials.
- Engage with the medical/scientific community through clinical and educational strategies.
- Develop relationships with thought leaders and stakeholders to meet their needs with available resources.
- Use scientific and clinical expertise to develop professional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Support medical strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
- Act as a liaison for the submission and review of research proposals.
- Lead or participate in projects and special initiatives as assigned.
- Manage administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Promote and adhere to ethical and compliance guidelines and laws.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD), PharmD, PhD, or equivalent.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting, preferably in Medical Affairs.
- Proven experience in leading field-based teams.
- Experience in supporting clinical studies.
- Ability to analyse research design, methods and outcome measures.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
- Team player with clear communication skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and operational excellence.
- Knowledge of pharma guidelines and regulations.
- Fluency in German.
