Hobson Prior is working alongside a client in Ireland to seek a Project Manager to join their team. In this role, you will lead a team of professionals in quality assurance, supply chain, and medical affairs. You will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time. This position involves overseeing the development of medical devices from early stages through to launch, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Core PM team, comprising around 10 professionals in QA, supply chain, and medical affairs.
• Oversee cross-functional interactions with a broader team
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Conduct pre-design verification, true design verification, and drive projects from early-stage development through to launch.
• Develop and manage QA systems, design input phases, and write necessary protocols for prototypes.
• Foster a collaborative, start-up culture focused on problem-solving and innovation.

Must Have

• Degree in Engineering or a similar technical field (Biomedical or Mechanical).
• Background in R&D.
• 6-8+ years of experience managing projects in the medical devices sector.
• Expertise in managing technical projects within MD R&D
• Familiarity with QA management systems, design input phases, and protocol writing.
• Experience with pre-design and true design verification
